meguite

privacy

meguite helps you create, play, and share guided meditations. some features need practical data storage: presets, cue text, optional recordings, optional photos, optional location for memory lane, and a persistent app identifier. this page explains what is collected, why, where it goes, and how to request removal.

1. who runs this

meguite is built by dennis dubbelhuis, under the wallvish umbrella.

for privacy questions, deletion requests, or data requests, contact contact@wallvish.com.

2. what we collect

3. why we use it

we use this data to run the meditation experience, save your presets, play your cues, show your private meditation history, support optional sharing, investigate bugs, and improve future versions.

we do not sell your data. we do not use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

4. where it is stored

data is stored using google firebase services and may be processed or stored in europe, the united states, or both, depending on the service and configuration in use.

5. who we share it with

we do not sell your data.

we share data only with service providers needed to operate the app and its infrastructure, including google firebase, or where disclosure is required by law.

in general, we prefer to share as little as reasonably necessary. modern life already leaks enough information without us joining in for sport.

6. how long we keep it

we keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, preserve your saved meditations, review public sharing, investigate issues, improve the service, and meet legal or security obligations.

if you reset the app or request removal, private data linked to your user identifier can be removed or moved into an internal privacy dump for administrative/legal traceability.

some technical records, logs, backups, public shared meditations, or internal records may remain where reasonably necessary for security, integrity, debugging, public library continuity, or legal reasons.

7. your options

depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your data.

you can also revoke camera, microphone, notifications, or location permissions in your device settings, use in-app reset features, or contact us if something remains visible and should not.

if these options are not already available in the app, contact contact@wallvish.com. we are happy to handle reasonable and valid requests.

8. deletion requests

the app includes a privacy section in settings. from there you can open this policy and request removal of private data linked to your current user identifier.

when approved, private meditation data, private configurations, and linked private records are moved into an internal privacy dump collection, and public activity is disconnected from the active user id where appropriate.

public shared meditations, including their connected audio cues, are not removed by a personal deletion request. once shared publicly, they are treated as community/library content.

if something still remains visible and you believe it should not, email contact@wallvish.com with screenshots if possible, the approximate date or time, and enough proof that it is yours. we will review it and fix it as appropriate.

9. children

meguite may be used by children. where required by law, parental or guardian consent should be provided for the processing of a child's personal data.

if your message concerns a child or a child-safety issue, say so clearly in the subject line. those matters will be treated with higher priority, as they should be.

10. future features

future versions may add richer meditation libraries, profile systems, location-based reflections, or new sharing/review features.

if a future feature materially changes what data we collect or how we use it, this policy will be updated.
